Well mates, after a lot of time I started to work with the bird again, the heli is beautiful but I never could make the retracts that came with the fuselage to work properly and I decided to change the retracts for the 15-25 eflite tricycle retracts

Adapt the eflite retracts to the airwolf fuselage took a lot of work, first I had to take out the old system

Then I had to figure out how could I adapt the new retracts, the front one was the most difficult, I used this piece, don't know the name in english

To do this

And with epoxy putty I prepared the fuselage to receive the front retract

And the result was this

Have to do something, I'll continue with the post latter  :130:

Now the rear retracts, after a lot of thinking on how could I instal the rear retracts, I came out with this solution

This is the place for the retract

This are the retracts that I had to install.

I used this piece of wood to make a base in which I could install the retract

And this is the result.

In the video I show how the retracts are working

This is how the fuselage looks with the new retracts.

The next step will be to assembly the heli again, will fly her to see if everything is working properly and then I will paint the imperfections  :130:

The videos of the bird flying

In this vid the heli is a little bit out of control, I was getting familiar with it.

In this one I checked the light system, looks nice

And the retracts are working very nice  :130:

Awesome. First I gotta buy me a new Tx and battery charger but after that I'm getting a 600 size Bell 222 fuse. I'm gonna do a custom paint job and make it look like my Monster Assault energy can, kinda like this guy did but with a different soda

Mountain Dew looked really nice.   :130:  I reckon the Monster would look better especially if you keep to the colours on the can, black fuse with either the red or green monster claw marks.  Looking forward to the build and eventually the maiden flight.  Good luck with her Marc.  :130: :130:

That will be a nice heli Marc, can't wait to see her, by now I am thinking about what to build for my next scale project  :132:, something with a 500 heli, I like a lot the MD 500, will see, perhaps with another project I could have my scale pro badge  :220:  :130:.
