 :hi: piledrive

One channel is connected to the the pitch servo and the second channel controls the gyro gain, that's why you have 6 channels in an electric cp heli, 7 channels are needed on a nitro heli though   :125:

Hey flyingdeutschman, did you see the tail rotor on the V400D02?  It's your tail rotor mod.  I mean exactly.  How much do you want to bet Walkera reads these forums and took your idea.  I haven't seen another heli with a tail rotor that looks like that. It's a pretty radical departure from previous Walkera tail rotors. I guess you should be honored.

I cant take too much credit for that. Walkera has the H22e and also one of its 4 CH dragonfly's uses this similar set up for the tail and both of those helicopters have been out long before i did this mod. I would be nice though for these helicopter manufactures to see the mods that people have done to these things to improve them and implement them to the newer models.

Ah, I didn't know about those heli's.  Walkera sure makes a lot of different models. Well, even if you didn't have an impact on the V400D02, you made flying my V200D02 a lot more fun and inexpensive. Thanks

Things have been pretty quiet here lately.  Here's my latest V200D02 story.

My friends D02 has always had a severe case of porpising up into a wind.  More than normal.  I flew it and it was bad.  You almost couldn't even go forward into any kind of a wind.  I bought me a WLToys V911 micro heli 4 ch fixed pitch the other day.  The thing is a blast btw.  On the first flight, I noticed right away it didn't want to go foward very fast before porpising up.  So I shortened the link from the swash plate to the servo.  Which tilted the whole rotor system in the forward direction.  It is now flying forward great.  So a light bulb came on and I called my friend and said, do the same thing to his D02.  In this case I think you lengthen the rear link.  He's a happy camper.  He said it finally goes forward fine and porpising is at a minimum. I'm sure this is common knowledge but it took us a year to figure that out. Ha

What do u guy think about the Robbe Arrow plus-Flybarless ?
Some say that its the same as the V200D02 but only with a different logo sticker on it.

I'm thinking of buying one because i can get one 2nd hand for 70euros = 93 dollar. I'm thinking about selling my HBFP2 and try to learn on this heli.

Is that a good idea?

Keep in mind that everyting is more expensive in The Netherlands. The V200d02 cost new +- 200euro = 265dollar

Alot easier to learn on than the bee. Sounds like a good deal.

Yeah, I agree, go for the Robbe Arrow plus-Flybarless.  It will be much easier to learn to fly on.  I went in circles learning to fly on the HBV2.  When I switched to the D02 I made much faster progress.  And broke a lot less parts. The rotor parts on a HBV2 break very easily.

It's good to hear that.
How is the tail while flying? i noticed that the tail from my bee isn't very steady, it doesn't hold its place.
And i also noticed that my Bee doesn't stay horizontale (aileron?) while my 45degree FP heli is steady in the air.
Because this heli is fly barless and it has a 3axis gyro i wonder, does it autocorrect the Helli while hovering so that it stay's level in the air?

I know all heli's need constant stick input but what are the differences in flight characteristics between this heli and the bee?

Oh and i forgot, is it possible to spectrumize this heli?

Yeeeeeey i bought it.  :138: :130: :138: :woohooguy:

Its gonna be sent by mail so im guessing that it will arrive on monday.
I also had another question, how durable is the main and torgue motor?

I guess it would not be a bad idea to buy some headsinks for the main? And is there a 'cheap' way to make the main and tail brushless?
