Hi guys, I am new to this hobby.  I bought a hbfp v2.  I fly it couple times and it been apart since.  The helicopter response very slow, I think it is impossible for a beginner to predict and react before hand to keep it under control.  My neighbor bought a  Walkera cb180q and it is very responsive. I think the Walkera HM v200d02 would be a nice one for a beginner.  Maybe something wrong with hbfp v2 that causing the slow respond. Any suggestion would be appreciated.

Could be a set up problem. People on this forum will help you out with your hbfp and  will help  set it up for you.  to Ask your question click on the start a new topic and start a new thread on it and your question will better get awnsered there.
The Walkera V200D02 has been a great trainer for alot of people here, Seems like to me alot of those v200 noob pilots have moved to cp very rapidly. .

Ok I got the training gear on and I thought I would try out the radio gear I picked up the heli and hit the throttle with the tranlng gear once I stopped the bleeding from the one inch gash in my arm I realized I destroyed the main gear it is the only part that wasn't available when I ordered the v200 but I do have some on the way. I will try to make the first flight video when it comes in and post it if I'm not in the er

Ouch piledrive.   :222:  Mate, you gotta keep the two separate from each other.  Take your heli to where you want to launch from and place it down.  Then, and only then, do your binding routine with Tx blah blah blah.  Hope your really ok and your arm heals real quick.. Take care.   :130:

Get used to buying main gears.  Unless you fly absolutely perfectly, they are going to slowly or quickly self destruct. Depending on how well you fly, land and takeoff.

Hi piledrive, don't let that discourage you, once you get over the initial hump things will get easier and more fun, get spare parts; main gears, main blades, tail rotors.

I found this series of YouTube videos very helpful when I was just starting:

Before I injured myself and broke the maingear I did notice a delay from when would kill the throttle and the motors stiled running is that normal

If your main gear is chewed up, the throttle response to the rotor turning can get funky. The motor pinion starts skipping teeth on the main gear.  You can get in a spot where the teeth are wrecked and the rotor won't even start.  You can also wreck the gear so bad, the heli won't even take off. It'll spin like normal but due to a lot of missing teeth, there isn't enough lift to get off the ground.

1) My Contra's noise pitches up on any attempted forward flights faster than just creeping, so is your 'wobbles' where the tail pitches up when attempting to fly backwards?  The reverse of my noise pitch up going forward.

2) If you have the video already uploaded to YouTube, simply copy and paste the YouTube link into the body of your text.  You can Preview how it looks with the Preview button at the bottom of the text composition window.

Something that look like this:

Mine goes foreword and back really fast just when going back after it gets moving the tail starts to bounce up and down but it keeps going it almost seems like the air from the main rotor and the tail rotor are causing some turbulence
