Is there a standard timing when new models come out?

How long before ESKY will upgrade the HBFP v2 to v3?

Do you think that others will match some of the features on Walkera's 180Z (brushless motor & HH gyro) on their lower end models?

When will ESKY change the ESC on the Belt CP

How about others matching E-Flights Blade 400 Tx?

Very much a beginner, but looking forward to my next heli.

quite a few questions here so here goes.......
I don't think there is a standard timing the manufacturers have to bring out new models, it's just down to when the old ones aren't selling that
well anymore then they'll bring up a new slightly more improved one to get everyones attention again.
Not sure about the hbfp v3 but from what i've read the v2's are good litttle helis as they are and you can pick one up relatively cheap anyway.
Other manufacturers will probably come up with there own features evetually...now that walkera has done it everyone else will probably jump on the
bandwagon, Just a case of wait and see.
Esky will probably never change the esc on the belt. They will probably just change the heatshrink color to match the model, but at least you know
to swap that out so you can just budget that into your spendings....thats if your thinking about gettting a belt cp that is.
As for the tx on the blade, If esky were to do it on there belt cp v2 and i had a choice of that and the blade 400 for the same price i'd
probably go for the blade , so i think spektrum have chosen the better of the larger manufacturers to go with.
That what my spin is on your q's

All of the above is probably correct,  the manufactures sometimes only change the canopy colour to get increases sales.

There is no pattern for releasing any new models or updates,  would you buy something if you knew a new model was on the way?

I doubt that you would, these guys market very well and will never let the cat out of the bag with regards to new models etc.

If we all had a chrystal ball we would all be rich and have the best models avaiable.

    Hope this helps.

    Speaking of new models...

BMann was kind enough to forward this along to me yesterday:

    http://www.walkera.com/en1/particular.jsp?pn=V200DQ01

Looks like they are going FBL on a lot of their models. Nice looking products too.

The current market situation is one of quick new product cycles.
When a new model is introduced is all written down in they biz model they use.

A company as Esky does not care much about the products, quality and customers. Delivering no stock or wrong stock to their dealers shows that the are not interrested in keeping dealers and customers. My local dealer told me he got an email from Esky with a announcement of 20% increase of the prices. He is waiting for 3 months now for new Esky spares.

I love my Bee very much and I am looking for an other FP machine because the part issue's Esky produces and not delivers.
Mainshafts with fixed pin is a great show of there incompetence.

Probably they have already honey bee V3 and new Belt cps etc. but they wait...

Now honey bee v2 sells like crazy, lama v4s too. 5/10 sites has out of stocks for e-sky helis.

They wait for people to stop buying. after that they will start to announce new helis but it depends on people. If honey bee v2 stops selling, they will announce v3 to increase sellings :)

Looks like it would fit but you think we are having motor problems now keep air off them in that fuse and see what happens-just a thought and may not make a difference but seems like it would get hotter.....
