OK FD, Sounds good. Please post some pics. I'm taking pics of this as I go along. Just been so daggone busy at work that I haven't gotten much done. By the time I get home from work, I'm too wiped out to get anything done. I should have the last of my lights etc the first of next week. Hope to have her finished in a couple of weeks. I'm also making a build vid as I go along and I'll get Chris to post it after I'm done.

Well, at least it's been a little bit quieter at work this week so far. Gave me a chance to get a little done. Got most of my graphics and decals on. Have my port and starboard nav lights and my tail beacon mostly installed. Next is to finish those installations and install the xenon strobe and the search light. After that I can finally install the mechanics, and then do things like antennas, cable cutters and the rest of the decals and graphics.

I'm taking pics and making a video as I progress and I'm gonna post it all when I'm done. I got a good bit done today. My nav lights, beacons are installed, and I made and mounted my search light and skid steps today.

Next is to remove the tail box and install the mechanics. Maybe I'll get that done next week.

Then a test flight, hopefully without any major problems, and the rest of the small scale details and a couple more decals and graphics.

Having a good time with it

\Well guys, got some real bad news on the Jet Ranger/Esmart build. It will have to be the Jet Ranger/???? build and at a later time.

Got up this morning just bustin to get to finally fit the mechanics into the fuselage. Finished stripping down the E last night.

Bad news is, the E just will not fit into the fuselage, not even close. I doubt you could modify the E enough to make it fit, but even if I could, I wouldn't be willing to modify my E that radically.

So, instead of test flying my Jet Ranger, I've reassembled my E and test flown it.

Oh well, there are worse things than having a beautifully flying E.

I will have to build a new heli that will fit. Maybe a Century Swift 550 size. It will be awhile though as money just ain't there right now. \

    RATS!!!

Well guys, decided to at least post some pics of the build so far. Still detail work to be done on the fuselage itself. More decals and graphics, antennas and cable cutters. That will wait until I decide on what mechanics I will be able to use, and of course, money.

Got to admit, it's kind of purdy though.

Maybe one day she will fly.

Beautiful DD! Puts my AS-350 to Shame! I take it you are not going to use the E-Smart? Got any ideas what mechanics you will use? Great Job on the graphics!

Thanks guys. No, I won't be able to use the Esmart. Not sure what to use. Maybe a Swift NX 30 size or a Swift 16. Just don't know yet.

Hate to spend the money on a whole new set of mechanics and all the electronics, but I don't have much of any other options. Probably better off leaving my E like it is though. It'll probably be a collectors item one day, and it flys like a dream.

Hey Stevo. Nope, she just won't go in there. The fuselage is just too narrow up top. Hits the servos and the bell cranks. I'm not sure what I'm gonna do. Waiting for a call back from Century to see if the 30 size NX or the 30 size Swift 16 mechanics will fit. I could go with their 30 size scale mechanics if I have to I suppose, but that means another electric conversion. I don't know, but I'll come up with something.

Gotta admit, it's a pretty nice looking fuselage though.

Thanks for the Pegasus offer, but I really dont want to mess with nitro.
