oh! i LOOOVE my new Ufly.. but im not used to this heli yet..
its different to fly than the HBFP.. its much moore faster in its reactions than my HBFP v1 and less than the Collective pitch helis, it has that "FP twitch" that are the balance between power/ agility and im little bit scared of crasching her too hard..
but its so much fun to fly this helicopter.. really a different experience flying a heli that are between FP and CP helis..
very strange and very interesting.. very speciall to fly IMO..
i think that you REALLY have to learn to FLY the FP helis.. the Collectives do have so much moore to save you before you run out of options..
i KNOW that i have POWER if i fly a Raptor 60- Trex 250-450 and so on..
FP -helis.. hmm! they are.. different.. there is SOMETHING about them that i LOVE...
i cant spell it out but the caracteristics are different in a very strange way..
you almoust have to "plan" your moves before you do them..
Collectives go where you tell them, they just do.. FP: always have this little "twist" that makes them so hard to fly..
and rewarding when you DO..
i have tipped her over once in a gust of wind and had 2 minor "crashes" so far and only managed to wear the maingear out a little bit.. but it flyes fine..
everything else is fine so far..
yes! i got my Ufly just recently and i sat up all night and fixed the mods.. because i KNOW i will hit the ground one way or another..
that comes with the territory in this hobby..
and it hurts.. and it hurts even moore because i didnt got the time/ founds to get ALL the absolut necessary parts to just knock my self out in any "flying madness"
sessions.. so i am trying to fly in "saving mode" as much as poissible..
but i really loooove the helicopter so far in any way..
all the "goodies" in a nice package and all the benefits there is with that nice fixed pitch rotor head and collective pitch agile tail..
and the 2.4 gz TX and BL motor are a hit..
i think that the turning/spinning ability to to one direction has to do with the mainrotor direction torque..
oh! i dont have a decent camera to video my flights yet but it would be very nice..
i do have a 5MP mobile cam but its hard to film and fly with that setup..
so i will try to film my flying in some point in the future..
i am very happy to see that this Ufly thread is active..
as active as we are "Uflyers"..
i love this bird and i am really little bit moore careful with this one than my HBFP v1..
i am still in "chock" of the fact that i really bought this one..
it took me a long time to get the founds to buy this one..
and helipilots HAVE to consider that the heli itself are just a part of the cost..
the necessary spareparts are almoust as expensive..
if you really want to FLY helicopters..
it will hurt your wallet.. (if your not a very lucky man/woman with nice jobs/ rich/ nice contacts and so on)
and im not that lucky.. i just LOVE to fly this things.. and really put my pennies whenever i can in this..
and thats one reason i really wanted to post the mods because they are really easy, inexpensive and functions well..
and you can do them all or just the ones that fits you and your style of piloting..
and fix the bird back to stock very easy..
i am not a "fancy" kind of pilot that cares if the things that i have are the latest fashion.. im little bit ruff/ hardcore..
and personnally i want AIRTIME... theres where i love to be..
in the AIR..
all respect to those who likes the oppoisite and fixes and bling their stuff to the extreeme, we are different people with different goals
helicopters in all fashions are cool..
i do enjoy every minute of this nice and lovely experience that i have piloting helis..
so lets do this.. if we can.. as much we can..
because we can..
