I dunno, to me it seems just like the guys out there on trikes (three wheeled motor cycles). I got no luv for 'em...
I gotta jump in here on this one. LOL As a 30yo who use to ride all the time (sold my baby - 1999 Royal Star Tour Classic II) I have respect for the Trikes. Here's why...
My Father was in a major Motorcycle Accident that should have taken his life and the accident was determined to be no fault of his own - something came up off of the road or a passing truck and struck him in the head causing him to black out. The bike left him on the right shoulder while it and the trailer it was pulling ended up 250+ feet up in the median. Anyway...he had a full recovery from that accident and is looking for another ride. He's not confident in holding up such a big cruiser as he had anymore - strength just isn't there anymore...so he's looking for a trike to help him out.
I've talked to a lot of trike owners that have a trike because they still want to ride but can't handle just two wheels anymore in the stop and go. There's a reason for 'em...
Anyway...I digress way off the topic and I apologize. Back on topic...

As you said it takes all kinds, and as someone else said, to each their own....but I'm with the majority here...this seem like an aweful lot of money for a "entry level" style machine no matter what bells and whistles it has. If we go back to bike anologies...to me it's like the HD Sporty....paying a ton of money for an entry level bike because of the HD Logo.
