witch way should the tail rotor turn?

The tail rotor should turn in a counter clockwise manner as seen from the right side of the heli (spin up into the rotor wash of the main blade).  This will correspond with a clockwise turning main blade.

    Depends on the particular heli as to wether the tail rotor turns clockwise or counter-clockwise but it will always turn so that the leading edge of the blade, comes up into the downwash of the main rotor.

    Not 100% sure but it would stand to reason that the tail-rotor would have better control and effect as opposed to going with the downwash.

    Just my thoughts,

    Hi There,

    Yes that is correct,

    The tail rotor always spins up into the tail wash of the main rotor blades.
