A 3 amp fuse is good enough for the DD tail.....

I have a CP3 tail motor and tail blade.  As soon as my tail motor dies, I'll be installing it.    If my main motor dies, I'll be installing the 370 super motor from the CP3.

I installed a CP3 tail motor & rotor & it works great! Also, my main motor started to loose power so I figured it was time to change it. So I replaced it with a CP3 main motor. It works very well. Has lots of power. Didn't really seem to affect flight time. I got 9.5 minutes out of before my battery alarm began going off.
No modifications needed. I used the stock wiring harness with stock V2 heat sink. The CP3 motor seems to give it a slightly different distinct sound like the tail motor does.

Hey Asboss! You know how the CP3 tail motor hums a little & makes it sound like an actually Bee buzzing? Well...the CP3 main motor, in my opinion, is just a little sound than the stock. It just sounds like it's running on a couple more cylinders. lol
You know...before installing it, I noticed that the motor has a lot of resistance when turning it. I don't know if that's how a fresh motor feels or if it just has heavier magnets inside? The motor I pulled out, the stock one, spins with a flick on your fingers. Also...I noticed that when landing & stopping with the old motor that the blades spun for a little bit & now they spins for just a couple turns & that's it. Maybe it needs to be broken in? Don't know.
