The C rating won't change your flight times. For longer flight times, you need larger capacity, meaning 800mAH instead of 600mAH for example. The trade off is weight. The larger capacity batteries are physically larger and heavier. You might have problems fitting it, and it may affect the CG (center of gravity) during flight.
Thanx much. I appreciate your reply. Happy flying to all.

I got my Turnigy 1000mAH 11.1v 25C batteries yesterday. I tried them today and my 4-in-1 got fried. I connected the battery and I smelled smoke. Will those batteries do that to a 4-in-1 or did I accidently attach the connectors together wrong? + to - and - to +. I think that's what I did. Just wanted to ask before the other 4-in-1 comes. I don't want to hook those batteries to it if they're going to do that. I definatley won't hook them backwards again. duh...

WHOA! You replaced a 7.4 volt battery with an 11.1 volt battery? That is probably what fried the 4-in-1 right there. Unless the 4-in-1 specifically states that its rated for 11.1 volts, then I would not attempt to use those batteries again with that 4-in-1.

I think I just crossed the connections and fried my 4-in-1.

My son's D-Fly III Sharp co-axial uses a 7.2v 600mAH Ni-Mh battery so I converted it to a 7.4v 800mAH 15C Lipo battery. My 11.1v 1000mAH 25C Turnigy in my HBFPV2 is the battery I crossed the connectors on. I was just making sure if it was the battery that shorted my Bee or me crossing the connectors. Thanx for the replies.

I think one of my 11,1 v lipo's is'nt good anymore. It blows up a little but stil works normal. It is a mistery 25 c. What do you think guy's, don't use it anymore or keep using it 'till the end? Charging it at this moment and everything looks normal.

HELP!! My son has a D-Fly III Sharp co-axial 3ch helicopter which carries a 7.2v 600mAH Ni-Mh battery. I upgraded it to use a 7.4v 800mAH 15C 2S lipo. I tried it today and it wouldn't lift-off. It just spun up and didn't move. I noticed the two motors it has were very hot to touch. Is there another battery I can use so that won't happen or are the motors going bad?
