Xtreme Brushed to Brushless signal Converter

I am planning on using a braushless motor for the tail if I can find a good one, thinking of using the brushless motor from the mcpX. I figure since the mcpX motor is basically the same as most tail motors it "should" work fine. But I'm trying to find something available at helidirect before ordering from somewhere else.

Can someone recommend how much A esc i need for a brushless motor for the V200d02 ?
I can get a 20A esc for 7 bucks.(cheap in the netherlands) but i don't know how much A the brushless motor from the V200d01 is...


But how does that converter work? because i wanted to buy a converter for the Walkera 4#3b. That is a brushed heli and to make it brushless i needed something more then only a converter.

I would go with at least a 20A, so it will work.
You can use a brushless motor off of a D01 or any of the brushless conversion parts that Nuttcaze showed on reply # 5 on this thread.
The motor that he is going to use is around $8.00 where as the v200D01 motors are around $ 30.00. I would use the one Marc is going to put in his v370 project. Its just as good as a motor as the walkera ones but by far less price. The only thing is that you will have to find a pinion gear for the motor which the walkera motors come with it.

The converter converts the brushed signal from the stock brushed ESC to a brushless signal for the brushless ESC. Without the converter- the brushless ESC will not recognize the signal from the stock brushed ESC.
For a brushless conversion you will need  a brushless ESC,signal converter,brushless motor,and pinion gear.

I'm wondering if that motor will fit in the V200d02 because the one that Mark wants to but is for his Brushless Conversion for the Walkera V370D01.
I'm guessing the V370 is a bigger heli then the V200, so it wont be likely the same motor wil fit?

NOTE: Totally offtopic question because i allready sold this heli but: On the dutch forum the say that to make the Walkera 4#3b brushless i needed to buy a new reciever, why is that? Is that because in that heli the ESC is build in with on the reciever bord?

the motor I plan on using is basically a T-Rex 250 motor, it should fit in the V200, the V200 and V370 have main motors that are the same size (dimensions) as far as I know

Yes they are the same size 370 size. The only reason why they have different part numbers is because the pinion is diferent.

This is the motor i am using on my v400's 12 grams. It might be too heavy for the v370.

Hmmm on second thought, the 2835 is more then 3 times as heavy.
Hmmm but im still curious if it will fit on the V200 or Honeybee. I allready own a  30 or 40A KDS esc, so i only need the converter to see if it works... Hmmm ill take a look to see if its available somewere in Holland.

Btw the 2835 2200kv is a motor for the Easystar, glider plane
