« on: April 29, 2012, 12:40:44 PM »
Im thinking of getting this helicopter as my next one because its huge, cheap(the 700fb super combo costs the same as the T-Rex 500ESP super combo)There is no difference in quality between Align and it.Im planning on buying a FB super combo and then converting it to fbl

length: 1328mm
Height: 408mm
Main Blade Length: 690mm
Main Rotor Diameter: 1562mm
Tail Rotor Diameter: 281mm
Motor Drive Gear:12T
Main Drive Gear:115T
Autorotation Tail Drive Gear: 104T
Tail Drive Gear: 24T
Drive Gear Ratio: 1:9.58:4.33
Weight(With Motor): 2830g
Flying Weight: Approx. 4700g

Radio transmitter and electronic equipment required for assembly:
Transmitter(7-channel or more, helicopter system)
Receiver(7-channel or more)
3 High Torque Digital Cyclic Servos
1 High Speed Tail Servo
High Performance Tail Gyro
ESC (12S Li-Po 80A or more)
5A and higher external BEC(uses when ESC doesn have BEC build in)
6S Li-Po 4500 ~ 5200mAh X2
Dial Pitch Gauge

1.All metal, highly precise main blade control system, with excellent durability and superior control precision.

2.Design concept based on large competition helicopters, for excellent static and dynamic performance.

3.New lateral adjustable metal left/right control bell crank arms and elevator control arms, enabling the most ideal endpoint travel adjustment

4.Innovative sliding battery tray rails embedded into the 3K side frames, allowing for quick battery access as well as battery protection. In addition, the system improves the overall rigidity of side frames, as the same time raising the center of gravity.

5.Top mounted motor base bringing the motor€s center of gravity much accurate, improving 3D agility and allowing blade drafts to cool the motor effectively.

6.Utilizing module 1 gear pitch for improved power sustainability of main gear.

7.Uniquely designed fixed motor mount providing absolute support for motor shaft, dramatically reducing gear mesh variance as result of instantaneous torque. In addition, this system strengthen the lack of support on high power out runner motors, eliminating gear stripping issues, while increasing motor power transfer efficiency and main gear longevity.

8.Easy access top mounted ESC platform to take advantage of main blades airflow for effective cooling.

9.New lightweight H-shaped electric devices retention system for protection, as well as ergonomically correct design to simplify operation.

10.High grade painted fiberglass canopy with new 4 point anti-vibration mounting mechanism to simplify installation.

11.Wide +/- 15 degree pitch range for superior 3D performance and explosive power.

12.CNC twice-machined gear for superior balance and stability.

13.High speed rated thrust bearings incorporated into tail blade grips.

14.Utilizes high efficiency tail drive shaft system and high strength 3K carbon fiber tail boom.

15.Highly rigid 3K carbon fiber side frames for simple maintenance.

16.Tail blades, tail boom, and tail boom supports all utilize high strength carbon fiber material.

17.High torque rated one way bearing base.

18.New lightweight landing gears.

Tommy, I have a Chaos 600..The combo kit that has all less RX and Battery.  It is a very nice machine, flies well and the little GT9 gyro works very nicely..you won't be disappointed... :125:

If the wings are moving faster than the fuselage it's a Helicopter!

I kinda dont like the Chaos 600 because its a clone of the ESP.I like to keep up to date.I would of went for a 600 if the batteries were any cheaper than for the 700,and if I wouldnt of found the Chaos 700 as the part prices for the T-Rex 700 are outrageous.

well  the  batteries  are  cheaper  for the  600...   cause  you  only  need  one  for  the  600   where  the  700   needs    two......   the new   t rex   600   pro  needs  two  lipos  also.....

I know I still havent built my HK450 but I know that im gonna go inverted in like the first 2-3 flight as I am already flying hard 3D on the simulator.I can do circles,forwards/backwards,figure 8s, with eyes closed.I have a deal with my family friend that when i go inverted for the 1st time and stay inverted for more than 30 seconds, that we will move on and first buy the kit, then a little by little the rest of the electronics.I have read a lot on other forums about what to get a 600 or a 700.I am now convinced to get a 600,rather than the 700.Im thinking of going nitro. My friend has a nitro helicopter(a Velo 50N1) he says that it is awesome. He gets 7-8 minutes of smack flight with 1 fuel tank,he doesnt need a timer,he just comes close to himself and sees how much fuel he´s got left. And when he runs out of it he just re-fills the tank and flies again.1 flight(or gallon?) for the 600N costs about 2.50$ and for the 700 it costs 5$.The 600 still flies longer than the 700.Its a bit faster (this is both a down side and a bright side) and the parts are A LOT cheaper.Because I pay for helicopters all by myself(Im 12)I dont think that I will be able to afford a 700.
