I just got a Genius CP. Very nice little heli. But not as stable as my 4G6s. Maybe I need some tweaking to do.

Here is the picture of her with Gaui 255.

Very nice :)

What do you think of your Gaui?

I'm trying to keep my heli's to stuff I can buy and service locally and there is one local dealer who carries Gaui, everyone else is either Blade or Align Trex...

I have to say, the more I fly my MCPX V2 the more I like it!  I don't have to worry about crashing anymore like I did with my 450.

I have done a few loops.  Has anyone used after market main blades yet? If so are they better than stock ones?

Thanks

I can't make any comparison. I only have Genius CP. Very nice heli to fly in the house.
Outside is also nice. Very stable. I fly it in 3 axis mode, never try the 6 axis mode.

Bind and Fly with a current TX makes it a no brainer, right? It would for me, which would have ME buying the Blade mCP x V2.

There are 3 different ones I am interested in....
Blade mCP X V2 .. $260
Walkera Genius .. $170
Nine Eagles Solo Pro 180 .. $230

I recently bought the Genius CP, there are some niggly little issues which have cropped up for some folks, but no more than you get on any other micro.
As you already have the 2801 radio, it would be the logical choice.
Blade mcpx are, like all Blade helis, expensive for what you get. It comes with a crappy radio, something worth taking into account.
Solo Pro 180 is ok (from what I have read), but is larger than the other two and one hell of a lot cheaper from Hobby King than that quoted price.
As with most of the stuff at the lower price end, you pays your money and takes your chance.
Whichever one of them you decide on, I hope it's a success story.

Late to this party, but I just bought an mCPX last Friday. $179 BNF from ExperienceRC. So far it's a riot.

Very responsive. A little too responsive for me right now though. I need to get used to how it handles before I run it into the flat screen  :215: or give the cat a hair cut.  :cooldance:

The little links have a tendency to pop off, so you have watch your crash sites. So far a ton of fun.

the solo 180 is more like a miniature 400 or 450 heli.. it is quite power full and can do some nice mild 3d with no problems at all. not recommend if this is your first micro ccpm that you are gonna learn 3d on.. quick and agile will crash before you can figure out what happened. all the solo pros for now have weak main gears. the 100 and 180 will strip on you in most crashes in idle up. the results may be similar in normal mode i would imagine. i prefer the mCPX over the G IMO... it's stable and little bigger and i find it easier to fly.. IMO the brushless mod is awesome and the 120 tail. my tail holds solid and the power is very decent. the G with the brushed motor is not very strong. the BL motor mod is where it at. the stock bogs down quite a bit and climb out is slow.. stock lipo is a low 15c.. 30c is way better.. the stock mCPX with brushed motor has more power than the stock G IMO. maybe the solo pro 125 will have a stronger gear and motor system.. :132:    hope this helps

Thanks for all the info guys ..

Personaly I am leaning to the Solo Pro for its size and as Bully said, its a Mini 450.
With its TT and Servo controlled Tail Rotor, I think will be much better.

The others have motors on the tail boom which I have found drain extra power and do wierd things in pyros etc.
The flimsy looking tail boom and tail blades on them are also a problem.

Now I just need to save a little $$ and find it at a better price  :coolguy:
Anyone got a HK buddy code

Hey guys,

Thinking of buying a micro CP, I think I've narrowed it down to the Solo Pro 180. I've read that the shaft for the tail is the weakest link but I will have to deal with it. The price is awesome compared to the other one i've looked at - $132.00 delivered to my front door :excited:

What do you guys think?
Brad

$132 from where ?

Thats a great price, considering I just paid $180 for mine from Hobbyking  :bash_2:

I can't confirm the tail shaft issue yet, mines been sitting in the box it arrived in for 4 days now as it turned up with a dead swashplate servo  :blue:
HK have been far from helpfull as to getting it replaced  :angry_2:

That is from the US warehouse, $120.00 plus about $12.00 parcal post shipping. After looking at more reviews I thinking I might skid the 180 TT system and go with the 100. It will be brushed and not as powerful but maybe more durable and less repair time.

I would choose Walkera, because the Tx can store more than 1 model. So you can buy other Walkera heli later.
Make sure the heli you choose comes with Devo radio, that's the new Walkera radio.
