Hey burton, the kit that I got does have the EXI logo etched into the blade grips as well as on the tail boom.

Hey FD, on the fourth pic down, is that a lipo alarm velcro'd to the lower part of the frame? Do you like it and if so what brand and where did you get it?

Also in the same pic, the main gear is white. Is that an Align main gear and is the white plastic stronger? ???

Yup!! It is a 6cell alarm and it is a MaxPro and I love it!! I use them on ALL my helis!!!! This one is sometimes hard to hear cause the heli is so loud but I time everything also. I don't always use the same size battery so this keeps me honest!!!! I got it at HeliDirect..
And yes it is the align set.. I got them cause the EXI were sorta warped or something..I'm not sure what to call it but they were not straight and they did not mesh very good with the TT drive gears..  Stronger?? I'm not sure....

hey guys i got a question about the tail box I've noticed on my copter x and exi Helli's i got no matter what size..

theres those holes on each side of the tail boom were on a tail box the notches pop into to keep the tail box straight onto the boom....on real align products do there tail boxes have those notches in the inside of the tail box to pop onto the boom whole to keep it secure? cause i know my belt cp has them but my clones do not so all u can do is tighten the screw on the tail box to make it stay on the boom..

so in realion to the 500 tread does the exi 500 metal tail have the notches to secure into the boom? ???

also is a spectrum ar6100e good to use on a exi 500 i use them on my 450 but i so have a ar7000 rx i was saving for a nitro heli too on the side

nice thanks......

hey I'm looking at the 1900kv  scorpion over the 1600 kv it it worth getting over the 1600 kv cause they are the same price.....  to much power maybe?   and was thinking about keeping motor and esc  one brand instead of mixing and matching i fig they both designed for each other so should be a good match with the 90 amp esc scorpion.....

you guys got any good esc suggestions i should think about price don't matter kinda lol ;D cheap is always better if its good and u guys have used them yourself

Yea KDE does make nice stuff.. I like the 1600 over the 1900 for a couple reasons.. First is, yes the power.. Most lower speed motors have more power(toqure) than higher speed. Second, because of that, you have a greater pinion choice..
I use the HobbyWing 80A Platunim with internal BEC set to 5volt.. I use only HobbyWing ESC's and have never had ANY problem's with them or the BEC.
